Within the GITEX Week 2023 activities, Dubai Municipality platform welcomed many visitors and delegations from various local and international entities and institutions. The GISCD presented important smart initiatives and innovative digital solutions that enhance sustainability in the emirate. During the exhibition, the center’s employees presented several pioneering projects, including the project to apply AI to detect building violations, Dubai Horizons and Dubai Digital Twin project. The Center's geospatial services and initiatives were also discussed with local and international delegations, such as the Japanese, Chinese and Saudi delegations, in addition to discussing the best international practices that serve the emirate in the geospatial field. Future cooperation opportunities were discussed between the delegations, within the framework of activating the strategic partnership and supporting the Municipality’s efforts to be the first digital city in the world.
