In its continuous pursuit of excellence, Dubai Municipality represented by Eng. Mohamed Al Tayer, Director of the Geospatial Systems Section at the GISCD, responded to an invitation from Esri to visit its headquarters in the United States for a period of 5 days. The visit included presentations on the latest technological developments at the company and a showcase of the best solutions and applications in the field of GIS. Additionally, meetings were held with the company's CEO, Mr. Jack Dangermond, to enhance cooperation between the two parties and introduce the future directions of the GISC for the coming years. The visit resulted in the establishment of new partnerships with other visiting entities, as well as the opportunity to learn about the best practices of these entities for various applications in the field. Eng. Mohamed Al Tayer also discussed cooperation possibilities to achieve innovative solutions to enhance the role of geographic information systems globally.
