The Geographic Information Center Department continues to work on the 3D Services and Infrastructure Map, an advanced digital twin platform that enables the storage and analysis of surface and subsurface data and facilities in a 3D environment. This platform is used to update and display 3D data and infrastructure across a 25 sq km area, utilizing global best practices in data management and analysis.
The project included surveying Al Warqa area, covering 10 square kilometers, using advanced GPR radar technology to provide accurate data directly reflected in the system. Additionally, the system enhances the ability of relevant entities to make data-driven decisions regarding the city's services and facilities, contributing to improved urban planning and infrastructure development.
It is an advanced dual digital platform that enables the storage and analysis of surface and subsurface data and facilities in a three-dimensional environment.
