In celebration of World Youth Skills Day, the GISCD represented by the GeoHub Incubator, participated in a special event organized by Dubai Municipality. The event aimed to highlight the role of youth in the Municipality's work fields and showcase their skills, talents, and academic specializations. Various workshops were presented to support and empower young talents and discuss innovative projects such as the GeoHub. Alya AlNaqbi, Project Manager explained the importance of "GeoHub" as the first geospatial incubator of its kind in the region. She talked about the vision and strategy of "GeoHub" and how it aims to support entrepreneurship, scientific research, and academic development, pointing out the significant role the centre plays in empowering youth by providing an ideal environment for innovation and development.
