As Dubai Municipality has accustomed us to its proactive participation in global conferences, exhibitions, and forums, the Municipality participates in "GITEX Africa" 2024, represented by Eng. Maitha Al Nuaimi, Director of the GIS Center & Eng. Layali Al Mulla Building Permit Director. This participation aims to highlight its efforts as a pioneering Municipality for a global city, working on implementing advanced and integrated projects to cement Dubai's position as the world's leading digital city. The Municipality's platform at the exhibition will present several of its outstanding digital projects, including the "Dubai Digital Twin" project. This project aims to provide an identical digital version of Dubai in the form of 3D maps enhanced with information about facilities, assets, residents, businesses, mobility, and the environment. It is used by the Municipality and all government entities for city planning, management, and smart service delivery. The exhibition will showcase several applications and uses of the digital twin in the field of infrastructure and residential buildings. Dubai Municipality will also present the "Build in Dubai" platform, an advanced digital platform that includes all services, information, and procedures related to the construction sector, whether provided by Dubai Municipality or other entities in the emirate. This platform targets all categories of users, including owners, consultants, and contractors throughout the entire construction journey.​
