Dubai Municipality, represented by the GISCD participated in the Esri UAE User Conference 2023, the largest in the region for geospatial information systems. The conference included local and international entities, companies, experts, decision-makers, showcasing the latest services, products, and discussing cutting-edge of geospatial technology and artificial intelligence. The conference highlighted the Municipality's leadership in geospatial information technology. The center presented the Dubai Digital Twin Project, a digital replica of Dubai in 2D and 3D maps, containing all assets, landmarks, and facilities. Additionally, the center conducted interactive workshops on displaying green spaces and plant biodiversity in Dubai, using Story Map technology based on satellite imagery. The conference also featured an electronic map exhibition showcasing the center's maps. The center's participation reflects the Municipality's commitment to technological advancement in data and geospatial applications, aiming to enhance urban service efficiency, improve quality of life, and build a sustainable and innovative future.
