The GIS Center Department participated in GITEX Global Week 2023 with a variety of important projects and innovative technologies and digital services related to utilizing AI to detect construction violations, in addition to other GIS projects such as the geospatial digital twin project and Dubai horizons project that support the emirate future plans in the field of air mobility. The exhibition represents an ideal opportunity to learn about the latest technological innovations presented by international companies and provides an integrated experience to showcase current and future services, and innovative digital solutions in the areas of municipality work. Maitha Al Nuaimi, Director of the GISC welcomed during the GITEX Global Week 2023 activities HE Dawood Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality and number of CEO’s, including HE Omar Bu Shehab, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, and H.E Major General Expert Ali Hassan Almutawa, Assistant Director-General for Fire and Rescue, and HE Abdullah Ali Zayed Al Falasi Director General of Dubai Government Human Resources Department as well as a delegation from the Dubai Police, to present the most prominent projects and advanced digital services that are supervised by Dubai Municipality and supports vital sectors and fields.​
