HE Eng. Dawoud Al-Hajri Director General of Dubai Municipality inaugurated the City Management Center, which aims to facilitate the management of city operations and response mechanisms to emergencies and crises. The CMC addresses the crises and takes appropriate immediate decisions by a group of specialists and response teams from the Municipality, who rely on the feature of immediate tracking of events. CMC acts as a communication channel between Municipality administrations and external parties in case of emergency. Al Hajri was accompanied at the opening by Eng. Maryam Al Muhairi, Acting CEO of the Building Regulation and Permits Agency, Eng. Maitha Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of the Geographic Information Systems Center Department, and a number of directors from the Municipality’s sectors, institutions and departments. The CMC in Dubai Municipality contributes to raising the efficiency of rapid response to the contact cases received by the center, and develop response processes and improve qualitative studies of risk management plans. At the end of the visit, HE praised the center's fruitful efforts and development that come within the framework of the Municipality's vision of making it A Pioneer in a Global City.
