The author Salah Al-Din Taheri presented the GIS Center with a version of his book “The Meanings of Dubai Regions Names and the Reasons Behind Its naming", as an appreciation to the center for providing an updated map of Dubai regions names, which is marked as a beginning in his authoring journey. GIS Center always supports ambitious people in GIS and other related fields.
