Dubai Municipality, represented by the GIS Center, has completed the second phase of the Control and Command Center. This strategic center is responsible for managing city operations and responding to emergency situations and crises.
The second phase of the project included integration with various municipality systems, such as the vehicle tracking system, sewage and irrigation SCADA systems, as well as meteorological and maritime systems, and the Municipality’s camera systems, including Dubai Police’s cameras.
A key requirement for phase II was equipping the Control and Command Center with members from emergency response teams across different municipal departments. This facilitates communication between the relevant teams and enables effective decision-making. In line with global best practices and to streamline operations efficiently, an agreement was made with the Dubai Municipality’s accident team to use the Siemens system, which will enhance the management of incoming reports and ensure the documentation of all reports and files.
