The GISCD participated in the Deep Learning Camp 2024 program in cooperation with Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), where a presentation titled "Introduction to Deep Learning and Remote Sensing" was delivered. The presentation covered the applications of deep learning in remote sensing, highlighting the SAR technology for ship detection using geospatial data as part of remote sensing science. This technology has been enhanced by incorporating deep learning to detect geographical features. This participation aims to strengthen the center's role in advancing cutting-edge technology and fostering collaboration with the international scientific community.
