GIS Center's employees visited Dubai Customs

Within the framework of the GIS Center's efforts to enhance cooperation with various entities and to identify the work processes and tasks that help in conceptualizing the development of a system that supports the partner's tasks, the GIS Center visited Dubai Customs to view the process of monitoring wooden ships in Dubai's ports. The visit aimed to get initial conceptions in order to develop a geospatial system for tracking wooden ships including their speed, and duration of stay. The center's staff were accompanied during the field visit by Mr. Rashid Al Suwaidi - Sr Maneger Creek Marine Operation​ and members of the crew at Al Khor Port in Dubai​
