Dubai Municipality highlights its efforts in digital transformation during GITEX 2024.

The Municipality’s stand at GITEX 2024 welcomed numerous visitors and delegations from various entities and sectors, both from within the country and abroad, as well as university and school students. This event serves as a great opportunity to showcase Dubai Municipality’s efforts in developing an integrated system for managing digital transformation. HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, along with sheikh Faisal bin Obaid bin Suhail Al Maktoum, visited the Municipality’s stand to view the latest projects and digital technologies. Eng. Maitha Al Nuaimi, Director of the GISC, presented the “Dubai 4D” project, which aims to provide advanced solutions for monitoring building conditions over long periods. The project offers accurate readings to determine a building’s stability or if it has experienced vibrations or damages. It contributes to developing sustainable solutions that reduce the environmental impact on existing buildings by improving their efficiency and extending their lifespan. Several notable figures also visited the stand, including H.E. Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, H.E. Abdullah Al Basti, General Secretary of the ​Executive Council of Dubai, HE Ohood Khalfan Al Roumi the Minister of State for Government Development and the Future in​​, H.E. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the CDA, Mr. Marwan bin Ghalita, Director-General of the Dubai Land Department, and Maj. Gen. Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi, Assistant Director-General for Resources and Support Services
