The conference aimed to discuss the latest innovations and research in smart data and to enhance collaboration between academics and industry professionals to improve urban life through modern technology. Asma Al Ali from the GISC presented a distinguished scientific paper focusing on the deep learning project for urban and vegetation changes using high-resolution satellite images from KhalifaSat over Dubai city. The presentation reviewed modern methods for extracting and analyzing data from satellite images using deep learning and AI techniques. It highlighted how these technologies contribute to enhancing Dubai's position as a leading city in utilizing modern technology to manage and develop its urban environment.
