As part of the activities of the Big Five Global 2023, the largest event in the field of construction and development in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, where Dubai Municipality represented by the GISCD has participated and gave a presentation about the 3D infrastructure lines mapping project. This project involves conducting a comprehensive study to select advanced technology for producing a 3D model and a comprehensive map of all geospatial data for infrastructure service lines. These details are integrated into a unified information source in line with the government's directives to transform Dubai into a fully smart model, providing a digital twin for the city, and ensuring the provision of top-notch services according to the highest international standards. The exhibition brought together a select group of leaders, experts, and innovators from various relevant industries to highlight several pioneering projects in the Municipality, including 3D printing for buildings, modern construction systems, and future trends in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its applications in the Emirate.
