This project comprises of multiple deliverables that aim to apply quality standards to available data in the geospatial databases managed by GISC. These quality standards enclose 14 elements, including location accuracy, metadata availability, data dictionary, sharing policy, and cartography. Developing and implementing a Quality Policy is a fundamental requirement for governing any GIS database. Hence, the outputs of this project will facilitate the monitoring and understanding of the effects of changes on data in a better way. In addition to focusing on improving, and ensuring that the services and products associated with this data meet the customers' needs and comply with the requirements of the approved international standards relevant to spatial data quality.
