The GISCD organized a series of specialized workshops aimed at enhancing the awareness of Dubai Municipality employees regarding the leading geospatial systems and projects managed by the department. These workshops provided detailed insights into several projects and systems, including "Dubai Here," the "Makani" geographic addressing system, and the "Dubai Digital Twin" project.
In the first half of 2024, 8 workshops were conducted, attended by 233 employees from various departments within the Municipality. This initiative is part of the Municipality's ongoing efforts to improve employee proficiency in utilizing and applying the latest geospatial technologies, contributing to the enhancement of public service quality.
