As part of GITEX Technology Week 2022, the Geospatial Business and Innovation Incubator in Dubai Municipality (GeoHub) participated under Dubai SME - Hamdan Program for Creativity and Innovation. An introductory workshop was prepared for participants & visitors titled “Smart Technology and Digital Innovation” presented by Latifa Al Serkal, Senior Planning & Development Specialist, where she gave an introduction about GeoHub, the first applied business incubator specializing in geospatial research, development, and innovation, and its most prominent initiatives and projects. HE Helal Saeed Al Marri is the Director General of Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, visited the platform and viewed the concept of the incubator and its directions. During Gitex Week 2022, GeoHab team met with a number of investors and entrepreneurs from various fields to discuss ways of cooperation and building an effective communication network that raises the level of geospatial awareness in the emirate.
