Within the framework of strengthening relationships and the pioneering role that the Municipality plays in supporting strategic projects in the emirate, the GIS Center held a meeting on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, with the Department of Geographic Information of Expo 2020 project. During the meeting, GISC team presented its future plans while emphasizing on its readiness to provide all kinds of Geo-spatial support to contribute towards meeting the requirements of the Expo 2020 project.
On the other hand, the Expo 2020 team provided an overview of the GIS role in this huge event.
The visit also included a tour in the Geospatial experiments area to learn about the center's technologies that support geospatial development and to build a digital twin model that serves decision-makers and meets all the geospatial needs of the Emirate of Dubai.
