Within a delegation that comprises of 11 governmental and semi-government entities, the GIS Center in Dubai Municipality participated in the eighth session of the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona, which was held between 13 to 15 November 2019. The congress is a leading annual platform that brings together city design experts from all over the world to exchange experiences and discuss various strategies about building future cities.
The event provides an opportunity for Dubai to review the achievements of the smart transformation, and to highlight the results of cooperation between all government and private agencies in the emirate. The GIS Center displayed “Kharitati" application, which allows landowners to obtain updated site maps and information about the violations related to their lands. It also, highlighted the importance of the application in facilitating procedures for clients and employees.
