Dubai Horizons' is a project concerned with planning corridors, airports locations and landing sites for drones. It aims to support Dubai's future plans for air mobility and to provide new services in air freight, logistics, and aerial scanning. Furthermore, the project contributes towards maintaining the safety and security of the aviation industry, as well as to organizing drones' operations and their use in compliance with the best international standards and practices. Also, it aims to make Dubai a center for innovation in the air mobility field along with creating a conducive environment for investment in this sector. The image shows a sample illustration of planned vertical zones available for flying drones and aerial taxi, which is determined by the planning department in the Municipality in accordance with building requirements and the permissible heights of buildings in those areas.
