The Building Permits Development Committee in Dubai launched a project to design and implement a roadmap for Building Information Modeling in the Emirate of Dubai on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
The consulting firm implementing the project provided a detailed presentation on the project objectives, scope of work, implementation plan, and project team. This strategic project aims to prepare a road map for adopting BIM technology and developing unified standards and tools that help in automatic verification process of building regulations and the integrated link between building information and geographic information systems. This will contribute in raising the customer satisfaction level , speeding up the process of delivering services related to Building permits ,and enhancing the emirate's competitiveness in the Global Competitiveness Index.
