The project team of “Updating the Base Map and Inventory of Government Assets” of the GIS Center has successfully completed the tasks of Dubai Base Map Updating - (Ortho Imagery and Assets) which covers all built up area of the Emirate of Dubai with ground resolutions of 10 cm to 15 cm. Additionally, a field survey of Road assets of RTA & water and electricity network assets of DEWA has been carried out in order to inventory and update the geospatial database of these assets. The project provided an updated Digital Surface Model – DSM and Digital Terrain Model – DTM for Dubai Emirate.
