The GIS Center participated in the fourth edition of the “Young Professionals in Space 2019" conference (YPS), which was launched by Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center. The conference aims to bring together scientists, engineers, leaders in the field of space and global agencies concerned with the space sector with young people to discuss exploratory research, latest innovations, developments and emerging space technologies. The project manager, Maryam Al- Ali, presented GeoDubai Initiative and Spatial Data Infrastructure of Dubai. On the other hand, the project manager Maitha Al-Nuaimi presented the Artificial Intelligence and Remote Sensing Technology project to Calculate Ghaf Tree Numbers in Dubai.
