The GIS Center in Dubai Municipality held a virtual meeting with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC (EITC-DU), within the series of meetings organized by the Center to strengthen the cooperation and participation in building a sustainable city. That meeting focused on displaying the GeoDubai's Initiative and the importance of the geospatial data for the Emirate, as well as to emphasizing its role in supporting Dubai' vision and plan for 2021 to be a smart city. Moreover, the center presented the technologies used their, such as the geospatial car and the panoramic images. In addition, it introduced the geographic addressing system “Makani" and “Dubai Here" system.
