In order to strengthen the strategic partnership between the governmental entities and the Free Zone's authorities in Dubai and given the importance of uniting efforts to serve the whole community, the GISC in Dubai Municipality, represented by Eng. Maryam Al Muhairi, Director of the Centre, held a virtual meeting with a number of managers and employees of Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). The meeting aimed to brief on the latest and most important projects in the geographic information system's field. The center presented Makani's project for addressing units, which support the vision of the Smart City of Dubai's Emirate, by providing a feature that helps to reach any destination in the Emirate easily and efficiently through using a unique number for each unit. In addition, it presented the most important technologies used and the geospatial initiatives in the center.
