As part of the series of meetings organized by the Geographic Information System Center (GISc) in Dubai Municipality to enhance cooperation and participation in building a sustainable city, the center conducted a virtual meeting with Dubai Police’s managers and employees, in order to introduce the GeoDubai initiative and the importance of Geospatial data for the emirate and its role in promoting Dubai’s vision and plan 2021 to become a Smart City. Furthermore, it displayed the technologies used in the center such as the geospatial car and the panoramic images and it presented the ‘Dubai Here’ system and the geographical addressing system ‘Makani’.
