The GISC Department in collaboration with the Dubai Civil Defense organized an awareness workshop on fire prevention principles and skills, which lasted for two weeks and targeted the center's employees and some departments from the Buildings Regulation and Permits Agency. These awareness workshops aim to highlight the importance of introducing employees with ways of prevention from fire risks and damages, whether in the workplace or at home. Also, it aimed to promote concepts and behaviors related to fires and its effects. The workshops covered different fire types, their causes, and how to deal with them. Moreover, Safe evacuation methods for survival, ways of communicating with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the importance of cooperation with firefighters were presented.
