In light of the GIS’s efforts and commitment to provide the best services and geospatial data, the Center has signed a service level agreement (SLA) with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center, as an extension of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties last September. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the geospatial infrastructure’s field, in order to work on providing a Unified Comprehensive Base Map for Dubai supported by FCSC's data. These data will be used for planning, designing, and managing development projects in the emirate. Along with determining the services’ quality, to which each party is committed to offer. The agreement was signed by Eng. Maryam Al Muhairi, Director of the GIS Center, and Hanan Ahli, Acting Director of the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics.
