Within the Dubai Municipality Women's team, GIS Center female employees had participated in Sheikha Hind Women's Sports Tournament, the largest of its kind, which includes teams from different government entities in Dubai.The tournament is held under the patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, , which is organized by the Women Sport Committee of Dubai Sports Council.
Female champions Lala Al-Sheikh, Taiba Al-Mansoori and Asma Al-Ali participated in the basketball tournament. Fortunately, Dubai Municipality team ranked second and won the silver medal.
