Dubai Municipality represented by the GIS Center received the Construction Technology Award 2021, during the 3rd Construction Technology Festival Conference which was held in Dubai between 1st and 2nd June 2021. The award aims to celebrate new approaches and best-in-class use of technology within the built environment. It looks for outstanding examples of technology implementation, transformation and leadership that have helped design, build or operate projects better. Eng. Maryam Al Muhairi the director of GIS Center received the woman in construction technology of the year award for her role in leading the initiative of digital transformation in building and construction sector in Dubai using Building Information Modeling (BIM).
